Beliefs

What we Believe

We are a conservative Church. We believe in the God of the Bible and that He is sovereign over all things. He is
the creator and sustainer of all things. God is Spirit and no one has ever seen Him except His Son, Jesus Christ.
He is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent.

God the Son

We know for certain that God the Son is the second part of the Trinity. He came to earth to seek
and save those who were lost to sin. He died on Calvary’s cross to save sinners from an eternal
hell. He was buried and rose again the third day. He is the only way to heaven and God the Father.

God the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is not a power or a force, but a distinct
personality. He was active in the creation of all life on the earth.
We believe that a person receives the Holy Spirit the moment of their salvation and that He abides
with them forever as their helper but also to "seal" their redemption. A Christian can "quench or
grieve" the Holy Spirit and lose their fellowship with God, but not their salvation.

Salvation

Salvation is by Grace through faith in Christ alone, not of merit or works. It is the free gift of God to
everyone who truly acknowledges that they have sinned against a Holy God and asked for His
forgiveness believing in Christ's atonement for their sins upon the cross. If a person could lose
their salvation, how would they regain it again? "For Christ died once for all our sins". You cannot
lose your salvation but you can certainly lose your rewards and fellowship with God the Father. We
believe in living the Christian life, not to keep our salvation, but, because of it.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the living Word of God written for all mankind for all ages. It was written
by human authors, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is without error in it's original writings.
We believe that the whole counsel of God is for us today. We teach the Old Testament, New
Testament and the Prophetic books and passages.

The Church

We believe that the main purpose of the Church is to glorify Christ Jesus who alone is head of the
Church. Secondly we believe that God has called the Church to "Teach" the Word of God, so that
families might become strong in their faith and understanding.

We also believe that the Church is commissioned by Christ to evangelize, baptize and teach what Christ has commanded.

 We are Futurist

As far as the book of Revelation is concerned. The events prophesied in Revelation are yet to come.

 We are Pre-Trib

We believe that Christ will come for His Church before the tribulation period.

 We are Pre-Millennial

We believe that the second coming of Christ will establish His rule on earth at the end of the
tribulation period and before the millennium.

We believe in the restoration of Israel

That God has not forgotten His people and that many will be saved by calling on Christ Jesus in repentance.

The Church has not, neither is it God's plan, to replace Israel with His church.
